TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian citizen can apply for a DTV (Thai visa) in Sweden if they are physically present in the country. It's important to provide proof of entry into Sweden, such as an entry stamp, and use the hotel address as a temporary home address for the application. Additionally, applicants should check for any requests for further documentation and maintain regular checks on their application status. If there is a Thai embassy nearby, it can also facilitate the visa application process.

you upload the proof you're IN sweden (entry stamp or something) and use the hotel where you're staying as your 'home address'

You might get a request for additional documents after you apply so be ready and check the status and your email regularly

BUT no issue being an aussie and using that consulate IF you're actually IN Sweden šŸ˜›
