DTV Dude to expand on this comment so OP has more information; the basic version limits the amount you can transfer and keep in the wallet as well as restricts you to business scans only.
By adding an additional form of identification (I used my Thai drivers license in addition to my passport), I was able to verify who I was granting the ability to transfer more, scan to private individuals (many small business accounts are simply the owners personal account), and hold 10x the amount of money in my wallet.
It’s still restricting in that any bank accounts or cards attached to the wallet must be of Thai origin.

, going there to top-up my wallet by adding cash is very easy.
Between my Wise card, cash, and True money wallet, I can have multiple pay options and multiple sets of assets in case one option isn’t working or isn’t accepted.
