this is verifiably false and is giving people the wrong impression about the visa entirely.

There’s zero rules written that it’s a short term visa and not intended to be used for the entire 5 year period.

It’s a MULTIPLE ENTRY, 5-YEAR visa.

You should delete this comment and, if not you, then the admins should. Otherwise, we are allowing bad actors to lie to people.

DTV Dude to expand on this comment so OP has more information; the basic version limits the amount you can transfer and keep in the wallet as well as restricts you to business scans only.

By adding an additional form of identification (I used my Thai drivers license in addition to my passport), I was able to verify who I was granting the ability to transfer more, scan to private individuals (many small business accounts are simply the owners personal account), and hold 10x the amount of money in my wallet.

It’s still restricting in that any bank accounts or cards attached to the wallet must be of Thai origin.

However, since I primarily use cash )withdrawn from ATMs using my Wise account and it’s attached card) and frequently stop at
****
, going there to top-up my wallet by adding cash is very easy.

Between my Wise card, cash, and True money wallet, I can have multiple pay options and multiple sets of assets in case one option isn’t working or isn’t accepted.

I don’t want to carry cash, it’s too easy to lose and spend.

And with true you can pay personal QRs as well as businesses.

It’s simpler and I go 7 all the time anyway. It’s not an extra step when I’m already there.
