This was my original plan, I’m just worried I’ll get called to interview and they’ll look through months of my bank statements to see if I was transferred a lump sum to meet the 500,000

It’s only under a family members name. But that’s the point of the sponsor, they have the funds that you don’t, but they state financial responsibility for you. It’s an option rather than having funds yourself

Well it wouldn’t be a random letter from a random person, it would be from a relative who has the funds available and states that they will be financially supporting the person with the visa.

On the London Thai embassy website it does state that a relative or spouse can do this. I just wanted to hear if anyone had personal experience with this situation and got approved
