If it’s first time I defintely recommend it. Accomdation and hotel rooms are generally really small and cramped though, expect to pay 1000-2000 baht a night at least for a small double room . Food and eating out is a bit more expensive than Thailand…you can find a lot Shabu shabu…expect to pay about 1000 baht to get enough food for three people

I would recommend going Nagoya > Takayama (for skiing) > Osaka (for universal studios> back to Nagoya

EVERYTHING is on their computer system, they can defintely see what visa you have …you don’t even have to tell them. Before when I mentioned I had a DTV, the IO got kind of annoyed and was…”yeah I can see already what visa you have in the system”,

It was pretty good and cold. Japan is a lot on fun on the first trip but the novelty wears off after you visit a few times
