But contact them to check (often they don’t reply) tell them your situation, that you’ve had 500k across multiple Thai accounts, have a strong monthly income etc

Depending on your residency / passport - London definitely been ok with a transfer within the last month

Some people have shared they were approved recently with balance for less than 3 months. Ask them what documents they used, what was their situation

If you want to try - pay the application fee and apply. But it’s a risk you might be rejected and lose the fee, if your position isn’t strong enough. Then you would have to wait a few more months. The gyms do know the general trends because they are part of the process with many applications.

If I was to risk it, I would include:

1) a solid cover letter, explain why you want to stay in Thailand, your financial situation and that you have 500k across multiple Thai accounts, how you’ll support yourself financially ongoing, where you’ll live, add URLs to your banks, employer, airbnb rental house, anything relevant to show authenticity. At the end list all the documents you have included with your application. Ensure to state you can work remotely in Thailand, all your employment is online in xxx countries and you won’t engage in any business in Thailand.

2) every Thai bank statement you have, highlight the balance, monthly income, your name, the transfer in of the 500k. Colour code your statements (statement 1 green, statement 2 blue etc). Provide 6 MONTHS of statements. And make a summary page at the start with a table e.g.

Statement 1 200k Xxx

Statement 2 300k. Xxx

Total 500k

3) information about your income and what source and refer back to your bank statement and highlighted transactions if this is where you receive the funds, include Airbnb house links or investment fund names

4) I think given your situation it’s best to book a flight and accomm and include the confirmations. Shows your intention and financial stability. Flight - book one min 2-4wks in advance with bestonwardtravel and hold the flight in your name for 14 days while application is processing. Accomm - you might already have a long term house, include the contract. Otherwise book 6-8 weeks with free cancellation, use the pdf confirmation and cancel it after approval. State in your cover letter you will search for long term accommodation when there.
