Your landlord or hotel(s) you stay at have to put in a TM30 for you being an alien residing within the kingdom of Thailand they have to do this within 24 hours of you staying in the domicile…it’s your landlords responsibility to put in the TM30 not yours
You have to go to an immigration office in person with your TM30 in person for your initial 90 day report…
What is initial…initial is your initial 90 day report or anytime you stay 90 consecutive days in country from returning from an international trip…
After your initial 90 day report you can do the report online or via snail mail
On entering Thailand have all your information printed out with the TDAC QR code ahd be prepared for any and all questions the the I/O may ask you
You will receive a stamp for 180 days make sure you check it before leaving the officer to see it’s is 180 days…you can be proactive and look at a calendar app to see what date is 180 days from arrival so you can say yes it’s good or no it’s wrong please fix
You don’t have to stay on country 180 consecutive days or even 90 consecutive days
Every time you reenter your 90 and 180 day reset
The TM30 is needed in case you want to do an extension in country
Missing the 90 day reporting can incur a ฿2,000 baht fine if you go on your own or ฿5,000 if you get arrested…but no one has ever been fined departing Thailand for missing a 90 day report at the border crossing
