I think a fair bit of what you can and can't do on these posts, is all hearsay and Chinese whispers, I asked at my local immigration office in kamphaeng Phet and they told me I can do what I want at our residence which included 3 Ria of corn and 4 Ria of rice but said don't help the neighbours, whether this is his opinion or law I don't know. But I asked the question and that's what I got.
When I have had the 30 day extension after 60 days I've been pulled up by immigration and for some reason they wanted to see my receipt for 1900 baht, I showed them, they said all good , on your way, So it was a bit strange but nothing to stress about if you go by there rules.
Not 100% on this but I think she might need Australian citizenship to recieve any type of pension. Marrying an Australian does not automatically give Australian citizenship.
it's clearly an American women doing what ever she wants and doesn't give a shit about the rules, then pulls the old (oh silly me I didn't realise) 🙄
when entering thailand that entry stamp also has the date you must leave by, but as we know you get 60 days visa exempt so it's not hard to plan your trip, this american women is clearly playing dumb, but this is thailand and stupid tricks or excuses don't work.
Without offending you, how the hell did you manage to stay 7 days over without realising it? Doesn't matter what country you visit you should familiarise yourself with the procedures and penalties of that country, rather than break there rules than ask the question.
You don't have to show them anything, when you arrive simply hand over your passport and he will stamp it, with the arrival date and your departure date, not sure why everyone is talking about a departure ticket or even where your accommodation is, the accommodation question was on the old arrival cards but they haven't worried about that for years,,in 17 years never been asked for the return ticket. Basically it's a give me when you arrive , nothing to stress about
You will get 60 days visa exemptions and when your about 45 days in go to thai immigration and apply for addional 30 days or jump the border into Loas, Myanmar, Cambodia or even Singapore than come straight back and get an addional 60 days on entry again.
