Way off base. A half day with a Visa agent when I got set up initially and then the same a year later for renewals is a very very small percentage of my total time living in Thailand. The country offers so much more beyond that but I guess if Visa stuff weighes heavy on your mind then maybe find somewhere else to go.
A fail means the transfer did not complete either on time or at all due to technical issues. So that opens up 12 chances for problems versus my once-a-year occasion. If it's working for you, great, but from reading comments, not everyone shares your good fortune. Ummm, it's not an intelligence situation, I just have many other much more fun and interesting things to do than checking this transfer all the time.
Definitely a good idea to keep separate. When the marriage wraps up, she'll disappear with whatever funds she can get her hands on, so at least your visa won't be in jeopardy.
