And monitoring can be a blood test every six months for some conditions. I get checked once a year. You cannot get a medical DTV for check ups thats ridiculous. If you believe that you are mistaken. It would mean every person getting a regular check for any condition would be eligible for a DTV. Thats nonsense since millions would be eligible. I would seriously question your insurance. I pay a fortune for the best cover you can get and it does not cover most pre existing conditions.

also age is relevant and as said no one will cover that sort of pre existing condition. They will cover things like a leg broken ten years ago with a rod in it...thats a prexisting condition but not likely to cause problems

I doubt DTV for existing well managed condition. Its not for treatment but monitoring and that wont get DTV

Bring plenty of money for the lung cancer treatment. There are lots of places that are not hopelessly polluted for months on end, with sky high lung cancer rates and air impossible to breathe. I love Chiang Mai, but I am not deranged enough to live there UNLESS you go away january to may.

So Nasa is wrong, the thai government who told people to stay indoors are wrong, every monitoring station of which there are 15, in and around Chiang Mai, every reputable agency collecting stats. Are wrong and this...''In 2024, nearly 360,000 people in Chiang Mai sought medical treatment for illnesses linked to air pollution—primarily respiratory problems caused by severe PM2.5 exposure. This made Chiang Mai the most affected province in northern Thailand, according to the Thai Ministry of Public Health.'' All wrong, but you are right. Thanks for clarifying that.
