I suggest you start a new post. This one is about the arrivals card.

Hi all. Yes it’s easy to do but make sure you know the sub district of where your accommodation is - that’s the only thing that gave me pause as it wasn’t on my accommodation address. I put the address in maps to find out.

PS I don’t understand why some people have to reply in a snarky way - how would you feel if you got a snarky reply to a simple question? Play nice - it costs nothing.

yes, on the form you will see it’s a required field. So for instance, your province may be Chiang Mai but there will be a subdistrict within that. If it’s not on your accommodation address just put the address into the map and you’ll see the sub district.

do you realise that some people may get bamboozled by this little thing?

It won’t go through if you don’t put the sub district in.

So if you’re asking why I posted that’s why. Do you understand now?

Yes it’s only an arrival card but it can make people anxious if they haven’t done this before or travelled much. Be nice!

I have been several times from Oz. It depends on what you want to experience.

I love the scenery and temples around CHIANG Mai and Chiang Rai. There are wonderful things to do and huge variety. Last time I was fascinated by an insect farm where the large insects look like leaves and the beautiful orchid farms.

The temples are varied too.

The Royal Palace in Bangkok is amazing.

The Thai people are lovely.

Research and choose what you want to see.

he’s just asking a question. People, especially those who haven’t traveled much, want to be sure their paperwork is in order. Different countries can be picky about different things.
