Hi. I’ve just done my TDAC and it was easy and I got my confirmation and QR code straight away,

The only bit that gave me pause was the sub district ( in the address section) because that wasn’t on my accommodation address. So I looked it up on the map. Hope that helps.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) process is straightforward, though some users experienced confusion about the sub-district field on the accommodation address. It is advised to look up this information beforehand. Others shared their experiences completing the TDAC, mentioning issues like incorrect departure dates and address entry, but generally found that they received their QR codes without problems and were smoothly processed at immigration. The community encourages sharing of experiences and advice, especially related to specific visa concerns.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

I don’t recall reading any question about health. Only passport information, arrival date and departure date, and accommodation address.

I suggest you start a new post. This one is about the arrivals card.

Let me share my experience from today. I completed the TDAC before leaving Canada on the 26th but should have done it at least 3 days before I guess but I mistakenly thought that it was within 3 days but when entering my departure date the system would not allow me to enter that same date nor the next day either so I simply put the first available option which was the 28th, same day as my arrival. Also for some reason the system did not allow me to enter an address even though I had one ready so I just left it blank and completed other required information. None of this seemed to be an issue as QR code received anyway and successful completion of TDAC indicated . And indeed they did ask to see it at Thai Immigration. Passport stamped for another 60 days. Edit: I’m such an idiot, I just realized that the departure date they wanted was when I was leaving Thailand 😂 but because they ask the question before asking for arrival date and because it takes me 2 days to get here I just assumed it wanted the day I was leaving my country. So all that to say I made mistakes on my form and still got a QR code and still got into the country 😂

Subdistrict ??.🤔

yes, on the form you will see it’s a required field. So for instance, your province may be Chiang Mai but there will be a subdistrict within that. If it’s not on your accommodation address just put the address into the map and you’ll see the sub district.

thank 😊

It will be ok and you don't have to show it to Immigration when you land. They will already have it in the system. It will show up when they punch in your passport.

do you realise that some people may get bamboozled by this little thing?

It won’t go through if you don’t put the sub district in.

So if you’re asking why I posted that’s why. Do you understand now?

Yes it’s only an arrival card but it can make people anxious if they haven’t done this before or travelled much. Be nice!

I wondered how many non Thailand residents would get tripped up by the district and subdistrict entries.
