probably because many travel insurance policy do not cover for 1 year of stay in one country. My policys always said either 60 or 90 days per trip even though it was a annual policy.

Same condo no, but I always do it via online account. I travel every 2 weeks. Ask the airline as its really upto them at checkin if they let you board or not.

think about it, if an insurance company will not accept it maybe they don't think its legal either. I can buy online for $29 aud but wouldn't I prefer idp which they do accept
