 it’s even better here on Koh Samui - there’s a pile of tm47 forms, but they tell you not to fill them out :) So you just hand them the passport

Anonymous participant 180 I’ve never heard of anyone being asked any questions about tm47 or tm30 at the point of entry / departure. Is that Canadian woman info reliable? Do you know her personally? She could have been in trouble anyway, to be denied entry and then they decided to dig deeper

 it really depends on the officer / shift boss / etc. I wouldn't rate BKK as an easy airport, quite the opposite. DMK? No idea, really - I was never properly questioned there, but I flew into DMK internationally only six or seven times in the last 15 years.

My point is that recommending one airport over another is ungrounded speculation.

 I do hundreds of QR payments a month, the average rate of the problems you described is probably 2-3 times a year. Then I just switch from Krungsri to Bangkok and the problem is solved
