Thank you. I was never required to produce an air ticket out of Thailand for either of my 3 non immigrant 0 volunteer visas. Do 60 day tourist Visa's require a plane ticket out of Thailand.

Carl Simpson mine was a volunteer visa (3 month) and they get processed (with the right paperwork) at the consulates in Penang, and the U.S. very quickly with a day or two. I'm not sure about in Thailand.

I took a plane ride from Penang to Langkawi. The flight was almost as much as the ferry to Langkawi and is over 3 hours. I heard mixed reviews about that long ferry ride. I stayed 10 days in Langkawi in cenang beach, because it is SO beautiful. But I would recommend staying in Cenang Beach on Lankawai and then book the Langkawi ferry back to Thailand. The ferry back to Thailand is very cheap.

Depends on where you are. I got one in Portland Oregon in 15 minutes. She does it all right there while you wait for it. I mean the 3 month one.

I mean I thought it was 15. This is good to know. Also, downtown Langkawi offers trips back to Phuket, and Krabi, etc.
