How does processing a tourist visa in Hong Kong compare to Malaysia?
Curious about those who have been to Hong Kong to process their tourist Visas. Is it as quick as Malaysia?

Answer summary
The process for obtaining a tourist visa in Hong Kong is reported to be straightforward and quick, akin to Malaysia, provided that all listed requirements are met. Specifically, a copy of the Hong Kong residents card is needed upon arrival.

There are reports that they're straight forward and easy to deal with IF you meet the requirements listed on the website.
As far as were it says your hong kong residents card, all they want is a copy of that paper they give you when you stamp into the country

, many many thai consulates now require proof of onward travel to get a tourist visa to thailand. If it's listed on their website you need it.Some thai consulates want to see 20K baht in a bank account, proof of hotel booking and proof of onward travel. It's up to the individual consulate on the requrements.

OPThank you. I was never required to produce an air ticket out of Thailand for either of my 3 non immigrant 0 volunteer visas. Do 60 day tourist Visa's require a plane ticket out of Thailand.
