If I decide to extend my 30 day Visa exempt stamp, where do I do that? Is it an easy process? I am currently in Ratachada area. I've only been to Immigration offices outside of Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 30-day visa exempt stamp in Ratachada, you can visit the main immigration office located at the government complex on Chaengwattana Road. The process is straightforward: you need to submit a TM.7 application form, have a passport-sized photo, make copies of your passport's data page, your entry stamp, and your TM.6 departure card. The fee is 1900 baht and allows for a 30-day extension. It's recommended to visit any time before your visa expires, and you need to obtain a queue number for section K at the immigration office. The office operates from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, closed from 12 PM to 1 PM for lunch.

you can go as soon as you want, there is no up side to waiting until the last day because they add the extension on to your current expiration date.

You'll need a passport sized photo, a filled out TM.7 application for extension form, singed copies of the data page of your passport, your current entry stamp and your TM.6 departure card. Those things and 1900baht get you a 30 day extension. You want a queue number for section K that's the one that does extensions on visa exempt entries. They are open Mon-Fri from 8:30-16:30 closed 12-13 for lunch

@Ro***
, if you go in the basement of building B where the immigration office is out at Chaengwattana there are copy shops that can take your photo, fill out the application and make your copies for you.

You have never been to an immigration office outside of thailand :/ That's because all the immigration offices are inside thailand, you were probably at a thai consulate or embassy ;)

Be that as it may

You can go to the main immigration office out at the government complex on Chaengwattana Road and apply for a 30 day extension to your 30 day visa exempt entry for 1900baht.

Here's the map of where it is
