In the same hall as passport control look n the far corner (on the left) there is a small office - they will take your photo, pay a small fee and you wait 5 mins - all done - sorry I forgot how much but not excessive

I used Bangkok B exactly same situation as you - when you go to colLECT VISA the bank give you a statement - just hand that in and ZERO PROBLEM

I did one day over as I was delayed coming from the North a few years back - paid 500 at the airport and asked "any problems coming back?" they said come back tomorrow if you want 🙂 Had the same misfortune in Aus 10 years back - two year ban. P.S had no efffect on my retirement VISA approvwl a year later
