I searched the group posts under ‘insurance’ and thought that the

out/in patient coverage had been replaced by a general 3m baht requirement starting 1 Oct or did I misunderstand that part?

because I won’t be in Thailand for half the year so I figured having a year’s worth of insurance would be a waste.

so that also means that I could get a retirement visa in advance of actually living in Thailand and provided I’m back in Thailand within each 12 months period I can keep it ‘live’ indefinitely? If so is there any minimum period I would need to stay in Thailand?
