Check the USEmbassy website in Malaysia. They have a tab for holidays which includes both US & MY.

Also if renting you need a copy of your lease & landlord ID. If you own, copy of chanote, Blue book, & if in Thai wife’s name a copy of her Thai ID.

A lot of complaints on Thai Immigration but I have had numerous positive experiences at the Jomtien location!

As long as you have all the appropriate/required documentation they are actually very efficient.

Also, I always go mid-week and 2PM so I don’t deal with morning/after lunch rushes.

I currently have a 1-year non-immigrant O-A Visa which expires on March 1, 2018 with a multiple-entry. I’m submitting my application for a Visa Extension on Tuesday AM if this week.

Question: At the same time of submitting my Visa extension, can I apply for a multiple-entry - I believe it’s the TM-8 form or should I wait until the Visa Extension is approved?
