Went to Jomtien immigration yesterday as i needed a confirmation of address for the bank. The lady behind the counter on seeing my passport took it to another counter and when she came my entry stamp had been changed.

My Non O-A visa is until 14 Jan 2019.

The border stamp was until 25 April 2018 being 90 days.

This has now been changed until 25 Jan 2019 being one year from border entry.

I am thankful this lovely lady behind the counter picked this up for me and had it fixed.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recounts a positive experience at the Jomtien immigration office, where a staff member corrected their entry stamp from an incorrect 90-day validity to a one-year validity aligned with their Non O-A visa, while also needing confirmation of their address for bank purposes.

A lot of complaints on Thai Immigration but I have had numerous positive experiences at the Jomtien location!

Seeing as stamp corrections are free glad she did it for you. (y)

Make sure you're stamped in for the correct amount of time BEFORE you walk away from passport control next time you enter the country ;)

I have made that mistake of having the incorrect stamp. It wasn't an issue but they did pick up in it when I went to do my 90 report.

@Ga***
, you would be surprised how many people get stamped in wrong. There's always a LONG queue out at the immigration office in Bangkok for people to get their stamps corrected :/
