Can I enter Thailand with my old passport containing my DTV visa and my new passport?

I heard about in Thailand at the Immigration is possible to transfer the VISA to the new passport. You should travel there with both passports, you get stamped into the new one and after at the Immigration you would be able to transfer the VISA to your new passport.
