We got the LTR Visa issued today. The process was pretty smooth. The LTR Visa issued a 5 year retirement visa with reporting once per year, extended after 5 years. We were able to use our taxes from 2024 . It offers multiple re-entry and does not require you to park any money in the bank if you earn over $80,000 In income per year.

You don’t need an agent. My husband and I just moved here a week ago and he received his visa today. We started the process 3 weeks ago. Initially I was going to use an agent. I sent emails to about 8 different agencies and attorneys. The average cost was $1,500 for the LTR Visa. After reading many post I decided to try my hand and applied without an agent.

It really was … on to the 2nd approval process. Status moved to Consideration by Government Agencies in less than 3 hours. I think so many people are afraid of making a mistake including myself, which many people don’t even want to take the chance. We are scared of the unknown.
