i thought they had stopped the covid extension already.

Flying in from Vietnam should be no problem. My Malaysian cousin who is working in BKK had no problem when he flew back from Vietnam after a holiday there.

She can fly back to Malaysia and then enter Thailand by land through any of the land borders from Perlis all the way to Kelantan. Of course the best choice is at the Bukit Kayu Hitam/Sadao land entry where she can go to Hatyai to catch a flight straight to BKK..

I am a Malaysian, btw..

just wanna add a suggestion on proof of exit out of Thailand. You could purchase a cheap bus or train to Malaysia and visit Langkawi Island or Penang Island spending a few days there before returning to Thailand by the same means of transportation too.

It's best for you to go to the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country and deal directly with them so that you can get the right and proper details for your matters on visa and so..

The moment you stamped out of Thailand, your 60days visa is invalid. When you re-enter, you will be getting the normal 30days visa exempt before 1st October or 45days visa exempt after 1st October. Should you wish to stay for another 45days, then you can apply for it with a fee of 1900bahts as long you can provide a valid reason for the extension
