Went to NZ for a week. Entering at BKK, the officer asked to see my DTV. (CNX has never asked.) I pulled up a picture on my phone. She looked at it and passed me through.

It has always been in the system when I have gone through. I do not carry a paper copy, but can pull it up on my phone if asked. I have only been asked once when arriving at BKK. I usually come through CNX. They have never asked, but always stamped the DTV.

@Al ******
if you are coming from USA, you need a USDA health certificate dated within ten days of when you land in Thailand. An FDA certified vet has to apply for this for you once they do vaccinations and inspection.

I HAVE a printed copy that I keep with me. My point is that I have not NEEDED it, nor BEEN ASKED for it. I AM “playing by the rules”, and I AM relevantly answering the OP’s question.

I have never shown a printed copy. The first time I entered with the DTV, I told the Passport Control officer I had the DTV, he entered it in the computer, stamped it in, and was finished. The next time I entered they asked for my address. Have never shown anything other than my passport.

I just brought in two cats to Chiang Mai January 29. Will bring two more in a month. The biggest expense is the airlines. Pet transport services were going to be double the cost. Just be sure you have ALL required paperwork.

yes, that’s why I specifically said the DC Embassy.
