its the use of the word recovered that is causing confusion..

in uk you are recovered after 10 days..

it would be much better if the thai rules didnt use the words recovered for 14 days! ..just something like at least 14 days from when covid was first detected would be better

yes i got the impression at immigration that the lady was looking at my date of recovery (10th) and my entry date (15th) ..she counted the days on her fingers!!

but...the 25th was the same day that guidance came out..

maybe they did that to clarify it..

yes i agree..when i arrived thai immigration clearly thought it was 14 days from my recovered date. that was 10th and i arrived 25th..the lady counted the days on her fingers!

i think the issue is thais use the past tense! if they said recovering rather than recovered it might be better because in uk you are deemed recovered after recovering for 10 days

but this latest quote seems to say different!

yes that sounds interesting..because it was confusing..maybe they tried to clarify.! i had this e mail from the thai embassy which said 14 days from recovery...
