but when you complete the application it asks for insurance of $100k - like the required bank statement showing £10k, there's no mention of it until you complete the application, then it catches you out at the end.

thanks - unfortunately the website doesn't mention anything about how to pay or get the documents back from them - it says everything has to be done by post due to Covid, but then all the instructions relate to actually calling in.😆

I was trying to ring them - might leave it for my wife to do - I've heard it's easier to get through if you select the option to speak Thai.

thanks- having spent the last hour trying to speak to Milton Keynes and the Thai Embassy in London, its not even that easy to do from within the UK - I can only imagine how much more complicated it'd be from Thailand. 👍

thanks - I remember we went to the British Embassy and had all the translations done 12 years ago - got the KR22 from Chaeng Watthana - but now she seems to have lost the translation. I was hoping it wouldn't be needed as we already have the KR22 all signed and stamped - but advice taken - better to be safe than sorry. 👍

thanks - we don't have a Thai marriage certificate. From what I understand, the KR22 should be proof that our marriage is registered in Thailand - just not sure if I would still need to have our UK certificate stamped as well before we go - or would the KR22 be sufficient for everything we'd need over there.
