Hopefully a quick question and easy answer. To apply for the extension based on marriage, I understand we need to provide a number of photos around the house (we already picked up the list from Immigration in Korat, albeit in Thai). It says one picture needs to show us with the house number, and my wife is stressing about where we get a number - none of the houses in our village have any, but we were in Ban Prasat the other day and they all had official looking plaques outside with the house number and names of the residents - she's worried we need something similar and is stressing about where to get one. Please can someone clarify what is needed? We do have a number on our house, but it's literally just numbers we bought and stuck on - nothing official.
Sorry if it's a dumb question. Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a marriage visa extension in Thailand, you need to provide photos that include your house number. It is common for houses in rural areas to lack official numbering. You can use any visible house numbers you have, even if they are simply adhered numbers. Suggestions from others include making temporary signs, using cardboard with the address written on it, or even creatively painting or marking the number on existing items like a postbox. Your current makeshift number should suffice for immigration purposes.
