What should I do if my local Amphur is closed due to flooding and I need to apply for my yearly Non-O visa extension?

Not sure if anyone would be able to answer this, but..... I'm due to apply for my 1st year's extension on being married to a Thai - money in bank account will mature in the next couple of weeks, and 90 day's Non-O expires at the beginning of November. We've been told when we got here that we need a new Kor-Ror 22. Unfortunately our local Amphur office is closed as its currently underwater and we have no idea when it will re-open. We're also unable to actually get to Korat as all the roads to get there are also flooded. My wife says she can't call Korat Immigration as they don't answer the phone. Hopefully the water will subside soon🤞, but as its still rising at the moment I'm getting a bit concerned as to what we do if we can’t get there or get the paperwork they asked for? Is there any way kind of extra time for extenuating circumstances?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a yearly extension of their Non-O visa while facing challenges due to their local Amphur being closed because of flooding. They mention that they need to obtain the Kor-Ror 22 document, but they cannot reach Korat Immigration for assistance. Commenters suggest using duplicates of existing documents for the application and consider a 60-day family visit extension as a temporary solution. They also recommend contacting immigration through the Line app.

You can maybe get a 60 day' visit family' extension to bridge the gap between your current visa and getting your yearly extension. I've done it myself . It's only available once per visa. But you may need the kor ror 22 for that. I didnt because I was married here . Kr22 is for marriages registered outside Thailand. You could get re married here to solve that problem but you will need an amphur for that.and technically it's supposed to be the one your wife is registered to .

thanks, that might be an option. We have a KR22 from nearly 13 years ago when we first got married, but they've asked for a new one now that we've moved here. Something to think about though. Thanks 👍

I applied for my initial non-o and two 1 year extensions all using duplicates of the exact same document. When we got married they gave us like 6 official copies. Immigration wanted 1 of those and the 2nd could be a photocopy. That was at chiang mai immigration. It may be different at other offices though.
