Exactly. The bag packing and bike happens by Sept 26 if you don't sort some kind of long stay visa. The agents will have a field day. So in this case it is a firm ending date to amnesty on Sept. 26.

They can stay until September 26 even if they don't. "He said those who planned to return to their home countries did not need to contact the bureau but also had to leave Thailand by Sept 26." The ones who get a new visa of some kind can stay after.
