Do I have to return to Muang Thong Thani immigration on April 23rd with my receipt for my emergency extension?

So I went with my personal letter from the US embassy to the temp immigration at Muang Thong Thani yesterday and got the under consideration stamp telling me to return on April 23rd. I assume I must return on that specific date and no other and with my receipt as well. Is this correct? Does anyone know anything else I need to do and whether one must go to CW or Muang Thong Thani now? Just so people know, I entered visa exempt and was getting an emergency extension after having used my first extension and being blocked from exiting the country.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received an under consideration stamp at Muang Thong Thani immigration and is required to return on a specific date (April 23rd) with their receipt. Community members confirm they must return to the same immigration office where the stamp was issued, and it is likely necessary to obtain a new letter from the embassy for each emergency extension request.

how much did you pay for the 7 days?

You only 15 days at first, have to go back for the other 15.

I’m curious about if I need to return to the same immigration on that date? I was in Bangkok, but not in Samut Prakan and makes sense to go to SP immigration, but I’m curious like others if I can go to a different place than where I got the stamp

thanks!

you have to go back to the same place if you got "under consideration".

no I don’t have to go to the same place? Or I do? Sorry in my comment I phrased it both ways. Thanks

Yes 3k people at CW on Wednesday. So they probably brought in around 6 million baht. Didn't enjoy the switch to MTT on Thursday at first, but there were only a couple hundred people there until I left, and I ended up number 12 in the queue and out by 10AM or so, so not too bad, limiting potential exposure. However, getting up at 4 and arriving at CW at 5:50AM was rough and I completely crashed after I got back home. Was chatting with taxi driver taking me to CW in thai, and he nearly shit himself when I told him I was from US until I told him it's been 2 years since I've been there.

Probably.. always best to ask them exactly what they gave you and what you need to do next time before leaving .

Rules are changing daily worldwide, so I would wait until just before you need to return to see what the rules are. Either way make sure you go back there on that date unless immigration declare otherwise publically. Only thing that will change that is a total clemency /waiver for all foreigners here. But I doubt it, too much money to be made.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I assume that unless they change policy, for every emergency extension I have to get, I will need a new embassy letter. Correct?

Same as her then, it's the stamp they use for non O visa extension applications. They gave you 30 days. Go back on that exact date and, unless things are different, they will probably do the same again.

You have a 30 day extension approval stamp, that's the most important thing atm.

Will they give her 30 more days starting on the 23rd? Or is the 30-clock already starting to count down from the day they have her the "under consideration" stamp?

It's the same as Nadia Eriendson's stamp, just different dates.

Hey Paolo, could you post a picture of the stamp?
