I had my 500k+ in my US bank account but transfer each month to my Thai bank account (got while on education visa over a year ago) so when I applied with just my US bank account they said where is all your daily spending and I had to also send my Thai bank account....sooooo long story short they may ask for both like they did got me.

Did it take 9 days for the spouse visa? Or the main one? Currently in Hanoi on day 6 waiting for my DTV to be approved and then we apply for my spouse's and I was really really hoping it would be quicker for him after mine gets approved 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Congratulations on yours!!! Soooo exciting

I am a married couple currently applying for DTV with a joint account. You 100% need 500k baht EACH in that account. You for sure can use a joint account if both of your names are on it. If that is just a savings account and not the account you do your daily spending on, they will ask for that account too.

The person who has a job, if you're applying for workcation DTV, will need to apply first, then the spouse dependent applies next. Let me know if you have any questions 😊
