My friend had the same experience, but she’s actually Malaysian. It took her about 5 weeks and after being asked for her bank statements twice, they made her bring them to them in person. Once she did that, they approved it like the next day. Just took forever to get to that step.

It takes minimum effort to update your CV - you’re not applying for a job so it doesn’t matter how much effort you put into it. I just added a couple things and uploaded it. I don’t think they even read it as I later realized I had the wrong zip code on it from a previous residence and they didn’t care at all

ah got it. I guess the release of the DTV is supposed to keep people from doing that, idk

when I say within a year last year I meant 2024. I entered dec 28 of 2023, June 2024 and end of July 2024. Sorry that wasn’t very clear. But I guess yeah it’s been like 5 months, stuff could have changed

Personally, I entered 3 times within a year last year - end of Dec, June and again in late July. No issues at all
