I submitted all my documents and application on sunday 05 jan, got a message today requesting extra documents. I was expecting the passport pages request but it said it wanted additional details of my current role, including cv, portfolio, work examples.
I applied as a remote worker, working for an employer in my home country so i don't have a portfolio, can't really show work examples due tonconfidentiality clause and i don't have an up-to-date cv.
I initially provided my contract, a letter from my boss approving me to work remotely and an extract from chamber of commerce for the company I am employed at.
I don't really know what else I can provide them, and am slightly worried now.

TLDR : Answer Summary
After submitting a remote work visa application to the Thai embassy, the applicant received a request for additional documents, specifically concerning their current role, including a CV and work examples. Due to confidentiality clauses and not having up-to-date documentation, the applicant is unsure how to proceed. Responses from the community suggest providing a detailed letter explaining the situation, updating or creating a CV, and seeking support from the employer for documentation about remote work arrangements.
It takes minimum effort to update your CV - you’re not applying for a job so it doesn’t matter how much effort you put into it. I just added a couple things and uploaded it. I don’t think they even read it as I later realized I had the wrong zip code on it from a previous residence and they didn’t care at all
Write a letter describing your role, what type of work that you do and that it doesn't include things that you present in a portfolio. Explain why you can't share any work examples. About the CV, it can't really be THAT difficult to write a new one or update one that you have (I know I could write mine in less than an hour). They ask for it, so do your best to sum up your education and work history. Good luck!
