Anonymer Teilnehmer 234 sure thing, I just gave it a try and as long as it works it works. But you are right, the development for us Farangs doesn’t look really good right now in case of Thai Banking. How should owners like us pay for utilities etc. in future if we are for example outside of Thailand. Really annoying…:(

I also thought that I would have a chance :(

But it is how it is.

Recommend to try at Krungthai Bank in Bangkok. They opened with DTV+Chanote+Yellow House Book+Pink ID+Thai Driver License an account for me last week.

Anonymer Teilnehmer they told me that I can go to any branch to close the account finally, but when arriving at any branch you should call the home branch that the home branch can explain what happened 😂

Fortunately I already put some months ago all of the money to other accounts only having 1 Baht on this account right now 😂😂😂👍

Just got the call from Bangkok Bank Pattaya Beach Road Branch that the head office decided to close my account. Even with DTV Visa+Chanote (condo owner) and all the supporting documents…
