However once it shows in your account you can use it as immigration are only interested in the deposits not what you spend it on

in order to use the bt income you would need to deposit each month this amount for 12 mths in addition to the 800,000 bts. That way when you came to renew your visa you will have the proof you need.

The easiest and the best thing to do is ask at the reception of the condos you are interested in if they have any condos available for rent. I’ll be very surprised if they don’t. Don’t be afraid to offer less than the asking price either. Over several years I’ve done this and it has never failed yet

I have opened 2 accounts one with Bangkok Bank and the other with KBank on a tourist visa. Both accounts were opened with a deposit of 1000bts and no I didn’t take out insurance nor was I offered it. However I did have to provide a copy of my 6mth Lease

that’s a whole load of misleading and wrong information. I have two bank accounts one with Bangkok Bank and the other with KBank both opened within the last few months. I have never been asked to get a letter from immigration. In both cases I opened both accounts using a tourist visa by depositing 1000bts into each and nor was I asked if I wanted to insurance.
