How long did it take from submission to rejection? I reckon maybe it's something to do with steady flow of income, ie. they're looking for non-freelancers, just a guess. The SG embassy is not known for its friendliness.

How long was the gap between application and approval? And is having a place prior a good or bad thing?

did you have previous visa(s) in Thailand before applying, curious why they wanted to prove you weren't in thailand. If you did, did they question you about it?

Not sure where you quote the 90days from? Indonesians currently can enter visa exempt for 60days, unless you add on a 30d extension on top of it.

Bangkok wouldn't be cheap.

You can't have an education visa and work at the same time technically. Also getting an ED visa varies from insitutions, some can convert from tourist visa, some you need to apply from an embassy. Don't just come and expect everything will be sorted out within 60d. Do your homework first.

I can't help with your question but can confirm that I also received a 2-page doc with fingerprints, in Thai, as a result of the clearance. I applied for a local school so it works out fine for me.

thanks for taking the time to reply. I was thinking in general the requirement for bank statement typically applies for all sorts of visas? But I could be totally wrong and specificity applies. I did read about the within 7-day minimum in another random post in this group. Also something about showing live balance in app, which I'll anticipate for.

I'll be applying for ED visa, with Thai bank account. There's no minimum balance requirement as far as I know.
