Your meant to have a return or onward tickets but the truth is they just don't have the time to look. Your unlikely to even have anyone even speak to you they will just stamp and move you on. I had same issue I 2023 as I wanted to extend so didn't actually know when I was leaving but had 0 issue

I did the same this year and have also booked my flights back for march and this time I applied for a 60 day visa recently. It was alot easier than I thought and only took a week to come back. British

I've seen a few state they have problems with the visa. I did mine last week which has now been complete. I found doing it on the phone was a problem. Try doing it on a pc

I did my 60 day visa last week. I found it easier to do it on a pc rather than a phone as the layout is a bit different.

I land on the 29th Feb with a 60 day which I'll extend by 30 and have a flight out 30th May. I'm checking this again haha

Technically you need a return ticket but I've never been asked and was there this year. I don't think they have the time or ability to check. From uk I went through 3 airports and wasn't even spoken to once. I didn't have a return as I didn't know when I was returning as I wanted to extend but everything was fine. Not even when I extended was I asked about return flights and only booked return days before I left.

i agree, considering thai economy is based on tourism it does seem strange however when I was there in march they extended the visa on arrival from 30 days to 45 (now back to 30) and if you have a look online they are talking about visa on arrival for 60 or 90 days for UK passport holders but not sure when this will happen.

I'm from Cardiff and did 3 months in Thailand this year and am booked from March to May next year. Its easy enough really. Apart from a retirement visa his option for 3 months (easiest but not quickest) 30 on arrival 30 day extention (only 1 a4 sheet super simple and so many tourists there willing to help) then a si.ple boarder bounce quick stamp on book and ur off. This year I'm getting a 60 day visa online (only pain is you have to reduce pic size but apart from that its just a pic of ya passport etc. Then ill get the 30 day extention.

I see alot talking about the visa part but not the question over the return flight. Technically you are required to have a return ticket to enter but there is no 1 checking and even when I extended this year I wasn't asked for any proof I had a ticket. I got my visa extention and just before my visa ran out I booked a return flight and left the day my visa extention expired
