yup what Lloyd said is correct, even if you do 90 day online reporting you can start counting again from the date you got back in the country.

You get it extended in Thailand to 1 year provided you satisfy the financial requirements.

The stamp means you have to go on the 9th at the office to get your passport stamped. Sorry but the trip is necessary.

My advice is checking the list with the immigration office too. They should have a printed checklist for you because it changes slightly from office to office sometimes.

The new website for 90 day report was slow for me but worked nicely in the end with the slip emailed directly to me. Create an account at the link provided by Tod.
