Indeed. We were mislead by the commonwealth bank in 2019. We transferred AUD$

There can be thousands of dollars difference by the time it arrives in your Thai bank account, depending on who you transfer it with. Is thousands of dollars trivial to you and your so far removed from reality to think it's also trivial for every other foreigner?
