Depends on the local rules, but it is being reported to 5 years on 2nd for DTV in some places. Only heard of 1 being a renewal as temporary and another 2 year. But multiple have achieved 5 years.

Go the simple route. Do retirement visa. It’s an understood system that is simple to do yourself. And you can do in country.

As I understand it, if submitting in your home country, then that language is ok. But if elsewhere Thai or English only I’m afraid.

Anonymous participant it’s worth looking at. I send money this way to my wife. And she never gets charged as long as receiving amount is correct and as a non international transfer. IE sent in thbt

Use WISE, you can do a bank transfer direct to them in local currency and no fee.

which is irrelevant on a 5 year visa. And a strange thing to query if you show them the visa. I’ve never been asked and only ever book one way flights.
