The Provisional Transport Office of Surin, in Prasat, charge 5,000 baht for a drivers license, theory & practical driving test, vehicle supplied. My Miss’s just got her motorcycle licence, a 2 day course 1,000 baht. Now for her car license 👏

Electricity prices are 4.15 baht per kilowatt/unit. Landlords will double that so it can be expensive. I was paying 10,000 baht a month rent &

What health insurance options are available for a 77-year-old moving to Thailand?

A friend in his late 70s was admitted to Patong Hospital twice in the last 5 years, no health insurance, just paid the bill each time totaling 60,000 baht. Relatively cheap compared with monthly premiums. But, you should always think of the worst case scenario at your age. 🤷‍♂️
