You’ll need a departure ticket but that doesn’t mean a return flight, a cheap flight to Vietnam or Cambodia will be sufficient

Can an expat in Thailand get a Thai credit card or should they use a home country card?

I always travel with a 2nd Visa debit card which can activated at any time should I need it. Yes I have had an ATM take a Visa card 5 hours out of Bangkok. It takes the stress off you, it takes 2 minutes to activate the new card.
