Yes, should be no problem. As long as you prepare the hotel booking, return tickets and show the cash if they ask. Sometime they have rondom check

Yes, as long as you have mobile banking you can transfer the fund to your account anywhere and you should try to do the transfer while you still in Thailand. If your mobile banking error or can't go through then go to your bank and ask them to check. I use Bangkok bank for mobile banking and always good.

You need to open Thai bank account under your name to apply for retirement visa. And the money normally need a proof transfer from overseas. Or your Thai wife can get the information at the immigration for all the documents that you need

if you planning to stay for 6 monts/year better you apply for the visa so you will have no issue.

Been in Thailand for 20years and it's depends on the area and where you go.

For single women if you stay in big city like Bangkok or Pattaya when I used to stay is safe. And stay in Condominium and not in the house alone.

Is this your first time in Thailand? If yes then you should try staying in different province, every province in Thailand has different culture, food and dialogue.

Different character of people too.

The food and cultures is amazing.
