The post discusses the experience of a user, Su Yadana, who successfully applied for a Thai visa at the Myanmar embassy, taking only a few days. Community members congratulate Su and ask questions regarding the application process, such as required documents, financial proof, and whether the experience was smooth. Su shares that no significant problems were encountered and explains the need for appointment scheduling, the requirement for documents to be in English or translated, and that a bank statement showing recent deposits was accepted.
Hi, any tips/tricks how to get appointment ? I have flight ticket for 6th, refreshing appointement site and when they finally added this week, its fully booked 😕
Thanks. The embassy in Yangon isn’t strict like the others. I only deposited few days before i printed out the statement and they accepted it. But it has to be your own account. They don’t accept the sponsorship.
it was very safe. The only thing was that the police asked questions at the airport before checking in at immigration. Some Burmese people weren’t allowed to fly for no reason. For foreigners, it should be ok.

Awesome! I had no clue that Myenmar's Thai embassy was operating. Sad how the news negatively shapes a Westerners perspective. I thought the entire country was war-torn. Turns out it's just a small section in the north.

So they spelled your surname wrong or is it wrong in your facebook profile? Might be a problem. YaDana and YaOana.

Ben Sand Ghostkamera They spelt in wrong in the visa. I went to the embassy the next day to get it fixed. They just rewrote it with a pen and stamp on it. Came to thailand and no issue so far.
get an online appointment, go to the embassy in person to summit the documents, and in the same day, they schedule for the quick interview. If you get accepted, you pay 400usd right after. Then you collect your passport with the sticker in it at the embassy in 2-3 business days. Very simple.
