What are the requirements and process for obtaining a Thai visa for Muay Thai training?

Hi :) got my approval via Phnom Penh embassy in person, no agency needed. It was super easy just a longer waiting time 8days. Soft power activitys: bank statement in English, passport, visa form, photo, for soft activities for muay Thai: the bill and the confirmation of the booking of the class for 3 month. Be sure that it is a official muay Thai school and not just a muay Thai gym. Fee: 400$. Feel free to ask :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user successfully applied for a Muay Thai visa at the Phnom Penh embassy without the help of an agency, taking around 8 days for the process. The required documents included a bank statement in English, a passport, a visa application form, a photo, and proof of booking a Muay Thai class from an official school. The fee was $400. The conversation also covers various questions about bank statement requirements, the need for proof of address, details about the Muay Thai school, and additional information useful for other expats applying through the same embassy.

Hello.

Do I still need to fill up the “occupation” part?

And do I need to put the Muay Thai School for the “Guarantor in Thailand”?

Hi. I’m also planning to apply in Phnom Penh.

Would you have any idea if an online professional porfolio is enough for proofing my freelancer status if applying as digital nomad?

Many thanks!

Re muay thai school. Different embassy want different compliance. Sports Authority license, board of boxing sport license, department of Skills development license, Ltd company tax registration. Best to find a gym that has all.
