ok thanks! a uk licence isn't ok then. will they ask to see the thai license during the green book process? i am in kpg i have heard there are agents her but i dont know where. i was told it can be done by post. but i think any seller would not wait until my name is on the book. so we would need to go to transport office in samui. is the test easy? could i get the letter to buy the bike and residence cert at the same time. what documents do i need for the residence cert?

gosh that seems alot to ask for. the bike i was thinking off (or any bike) could have outstanding taxes even though its got a green book? i would also have to get a residence cert (how do i get that)? then get my name on green book would the seller give me the green book without payment. then take them to transport office and than pay them its just seems unrealistic. i am not being funny is that what i need to try to do to to buy a second hand bike safely?
