I’m very worried that this government is tracking those who answer negative or disrespectful towards them. Best keep your thoughts to yourself. Best if that each Embassy representative express what needs to be done. If Embassies requested information for change from their visiting/long stay personnel maybe just maybe change will come. Just my opinion but then who am I.

In all my times coming to Thailand since 1999 I’ve never been asked, but on several occasions I’ve seen it done to backpackers.

I now fly NOK Air, they’ve never let me down. I’ve never been canceled or delayed. Air Asia, Thai and Thai Smile are un dependable and never on time plus cost.

Not recently but before COVID-19 99% of the time flights either canceled or delayed for hours and hours.

Agreed. Every time the wife is with me at any place doing business makes things complicated. Better by myself.

I guess it depends on each bank’s policy because for me all I did was go to bank in Ubon Ratchathani with passport and money for deposit and presto bank account in my name only done. No wife was with me, and paperwork simple.

Did you ever expect this country would pass that up. Just imagine a Christmas and New Years celebration without alcohol, this would never happen.

Like he said but remember you’re going to get the lesser conversion rate from Thai to your home country money.

seems to me they are running the new Microsoft and don’t have a legal copy of Adobe Acrobat which shuts down all previous PDFs from older versions of Acrobat. So stick with JPEG.
