Hello… I’m seeing a lot of people saying when you do the Thai pass that the pics can’t be pdf format! Does anyone know if HEIC? I just want to get everything right first time and this is a nightmare 🤯

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users have encountered issues with the Thai Pass application regarding accepted image formats. It is confirmed that only JPEG and PNG formats are acceptable for uploads, and PDF or HEIC formats are not allowed. Some users suggested taking screenshots and uploading them as a workaround, which has proven effective. It's recommended to stick to standard formats to avoid complications during the application process.

Why would they allow a proprietary image format that can only be viewed on Apple devices if they don't allow PDF?

seems to me they are running the new Microsoft and don’t have a legal copy of Adobe Acrobat which shuts down all previous PDFs from older versions of Acrobat. So stick with JPEG.

Think you missed my point. I'm asking OP why, if they don't allow PDF, they would allow HEIC, a proprietary Apple format. Common sense answers the question, never mind that it's clear on the Pass application what formats they allow (jpeg, jpg, and png, I believe they were).
