Your traitor never sleeps. If it is not legal, or you are not allowed to do anything that can be seen as work (accept money, fix the sink) somebody who does not like you will tell on you. Somebody who sees you as competition, does not like foreigners, or does not like the people that you rent out to.

I think for both sides an extension of amnesty is good for now, until flights go more regular.

But I hate the entitlement people feel, the false arguments to stay here and keep staying here. Blaming everything and everyone for them staying here. That, I would not do. You make your own decisions, live with the consequenses. Some people deserve empathy, some do not.

Wow, you are a real asset to the Thai community. You are the type of Farang they really enjoy coming over. I am so happy people like you help us Farang get a good image with Thai people. Not racist or sexist at all.

My wife makes more money than me. She educated her self to speak English, is someone I am proud of. Perhaps if you stop looking in bars and massage places, you will be able to see there is more to Thailand than the ladies you meet.

I live here full time, and even under the circumstances I am enjoying it. Better to be here than most other countries, as it was safe here. Most people who are on amnesty here, thought it was better to stay here than go home. If I was in that situation I would have done the same.

Not all tourists are half wits, just the ones that did not do anything to get home and now feel entitled to stay here. Real tourists did everything they could to get home, because they have a life there. Families and jobs. The ones that stayed are just trying to use Covid as an excuse to not do anything and stretch their stay as long as possible. And now many do not have a clue what to do, and think they are in a position to tell Thailand what they are entitled to.
