payment is stated that it must be made in Vientiane. But other embassies have their own way but takes much longer. Vientiane is much more stream line. If you want the DTV you do as required by the embassy l preferred Vientiane because it was quick. If you want to travel do it after you get your visa.

that varies as far as l have seen so far. The immagration office l went to just said complete extension paper and pay 1900 bht hope that is consistent. They said it's a new visa so they don't know just complete the form copy and of passport done ✅

You don't need a work permit or be retired to get a motorbike licence. But you do need correct documents. First search what is required. You actually apply for an appointment to do the licence online DLT website. It's not up to an individual to allow you a licence anyone can apply. But get the appointment and get you documents in order. I can't remember off hand what you need but it's not difficult.
